Eunice Herrera is an associate attorney at Noble & Vrapi P.A. and is based in the firm’s Santa Fe office. Ms. Herrera started at Noble & Vrapi in 2008 gaining experience as a legal assistant. Her work with immigrant families strengthened her aspiration to pursue a career as an immigration attorney.
In 2016, Ms. Herrera obtained her Juris Doctor (JD) with a certification in International and Immigration Law from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, TX. While she was obtaining her law education, she volunteered at The Young Immigrant Center for Children where she gained experience in immigration issues that affect youth. Ms. Herrera has expertise in family-based petitions, naturalization, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, DACA, U Visas and VAWA petitions.
A Mexican-American woman, Ms. Herrera was born in El Paso, TX and grew up in Ascension, Chihuahua. Her first language is Spanish. During her teenage years, she left her home and family to pursue an education in the United States. Ms. Herrera graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso with a bachelor’s degree in bilingual education.
In her free time, Ms. Herrera volunteers for the orphanage Casa de Amor Para Niños and for the scholarship program Alas de Amor, both nonprofit organizations located in Puerto Palomas, Chihuahua in Mexico. In addition to her volunteer work, Ms. Herrera is a musician. She enjoys playing the keyboard, guitar and bass at the church she attends, La Luz en Mision Viejo in Santa Fe, NM.
